Dear LiveJournal user,

Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. We have reviewed the community in question, and because it contains explicit depictions of violence, we have marked it to prevent minors from accessing it. Other than that, however, there is no action we can take.

Though this material is understandably offensive, in order for it to be in violation of our policies it would need to explicitly encourage violence against a particular group of people. As long as it does not contain such incitements, it is considered allowable. We strongly suggest you to refrain from reading this journal in case that you consider its content distressing.

Regards,
Chris

Thanks for your irrefragable answer. Does that means, that if similar community "dead_jews" or "nice_holocaust" will be created by someone, it will not be suspended as well, but will be marked to prevent minors from accessing it ?

Just to make things more clear. Name of this community "mertvye_russkie" means "dead_russians".
That's why I've asked you about similar community "dead_jews" or something like that.

Dear LiveJournal user akos,

Thank you for following up with us; your interest to this sensitive issue is very appreciated. Please be aware that this situation has been reviewed by our translators before this decision has been made, and we are certain that no violations of the Terms of Service are evident in the entry you have provided us a link to.

LiveJournal users are allowed to express themselves in a variety of ways, and these ways are considered allowable unless they disrupt site usage in a severe way or are close to the line of violating the United States law. In regards to hatespeech content, this means that such an incitement must exist in order for a content to be in violation.

As such, similar communities of "dead_jews" or "nice_holocaust" would be allowed unless they cross this line, although we fully understand that this type of content can significantly offend other users. These users are suggested to avoid reading such journals.

Regards,
Chris
